This role partners closely with Talent teams to translate people-related data into clear insights that inform decision-making. The position blends analytical execution, business partnership, and storytelling, requiring both technical capability and the ability to communicate findings effectively to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Talent stakeholders to define analytical questions, clarify objectives, and determine the most effective way to deliver insights

  • Translate complex datasets into clear narratives, visualizations, summaries, and recommendations tailored to business audiences

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports supporting initiatives such as recruiting, performance, evaluations, and retention

  • Act as a thought partner and advisor to Talent leadership by providing interpretation, context, and actionable guidance

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality across all analyses and reporting outputs

  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and contribute to special projects while balancing competing priorities and timelines

  • Create user-friendly documentation and guidance to help stakeholders understand and effectively use reports and dashboards

  • Lead and coordinate data-focused initiatives, partnering with Workforce Information Systems, IT, and other teams as needed

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting workflows and processes, recommending practical enhancements that increase efficiency and usability

  • Communicate findings clearly through written summaries, charts, tables, and presentations that highlight key implications

  • Support both strategic and operational decision-making by delivering insights aligned to real business needs

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Four-year college degree required; equivalent professional experience considered

  • Minimum two years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role

  • Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment is a plus

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) to develop dashboards and decision-support reporting

  • Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis

  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft M365 tools

  • Familiarity with data visualization best practices and strong visual design judgment

  • Exposure to workflow automation, additional analytics tools, cloud platforms, or professional services systems (e.g., UKGPro, Aderant, Intapp) is a plus; training provided

Business Partnership & Communication

  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, accessible insights for non-technical audiences

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with teams and understand business context

  • Experience gathering requirements, asking thoughtful questions, and shaping analysis around real-world business problems

  • Ability to provide context, interpretation, and recommendations, not just raw data or reports

  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive information

  • Ability to produce clear, concise, error-free documentation and user guidance

  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
