Location: Richardson, TX or Aurora, CO
Description
This role focuses on the integration, verification, and validation of complex software-intensive systems across lab and field environments. The position supports Agile development teams by designing, executing, and automating tests that ensure system functionality, performance, and mission readiness.
Responsibilities

Perform systems integration, verification, and validation (IV&V) activities for complex, software-driven systems

Plan, execute, and document integration and test events in laboratory and operational environments

Develop and maintain automated test scripts to support regression, functional, and system-level testing

Support CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated testing into build and deployment workflows

Debug and troubleshoot software-based systems, working closely with developers and systems engineers

Execute testing activities on Linux platforms, including Red Hat–based environments

Collaborate with Agile teams to support iterative development, rapid feedback, and continuous improvement

Track test execution, defects, and requirements coverage using standard program tools
Requirements
-
Proven experience in systems integration and test (SI&T) for complex technical systems

Hands-on experience supporting CI/CD environments

Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts

Strong background working in Linux environments, specifically Red Hat

Proficiency in Python and/or Perl

Demonstrated ability to debug and analyze software-centric system issues
Preferred / Domain Experience
-
Experience supporting satellite ground systems

Familiarity with ground stations, telemetry, or mission operations environments

Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Cucumber, Gherkin, SoapUI, or Zephyr

Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence for defect tracking and documentation

Programming experience with Java, C++, and/or Python
-
Exposure to AWS or cloud-adjacent environments
Security & Certifications

Active TS/SCI clearance (polygraph obtainable after start)

Security+ certification preferred
